Now, the race is on to plant, work hard, grow, harvest, run around feeling panicked, all to capture the short growing season here in MT. We are in a very small tourist oriented town located at the gates of Yellowstone National Park along the beautiful Beartooth Mountains. Much of our living is made off the tourist trade, that too starts around the end of May and runs at a frantic pace until September. Darn, I better get busy and stop dreaming about pineapples and Hawaii for a while!!! (The above photo is by Merv Coleman, an outstanding photographer in our town)
