Volcano House is making great progress!

So excited to see it coming along after an over 2 year closure.... Set to open in 2013 (no set date or month) there soon will be a place to dine or have a cocktail in the park after a long day of hiking.

Also the cute little cabins are available now ($55 per night), as is the campground ($15 per night) - fun!

Some more space saving ideas!

I'm sure in a tiny home it doesn't take much to make it overflow with personal items. I'm thinking boat building techniques are the way to stow and go.

Another resource I want to stash away for later

Several products for living off grid ... seems to be a bunch of links, however nice that someone's done the work to put them all together. I love to support enterprising peeps if I can!

Planning the next trip....

Always dreaming about it actually.... just doing the usual, checking airfare, organizing housing, considering transportation, wondering about dog sitters.... the usual. This year my son will travel to HI and stay with me. His schooling is now completely distance based and choice driven, so I'm thinking this will be a great opportunity for him too!
